As we enter a new year, Palmetto Futures remains grounded in the belief that communities deserve clean environments, just food systems, healthy homes, and a meaningful role in shaping their futures. In 2026, we are deepening our commitment to community-led environmental justice, land stewardship, and food sovereignty across the Carolinas.

This year, we look forward to expanding partnerships with grassroots organizations, supporting place-based environmental solutions, and continuing to center the voices and lived experiences of historically underserved communities. Our work will continue to focus on turning local knowledge into action-through education, technical support, and collective problem-solving.
