Palmetto Futures Announces Kibri Everett's Appointment to CleanAIRE NC's Board of Directors

Palmetto Futures is pleased to announce that Kibri Everett, our Executive Director, has joined the Board of Directors of CleanAIRE NC. This new role is a reflection of her deep commitment to environmental justice and her extensive expertise in environmental science. 

With a career spanning over two decades in the environmental field, Ms. Everett's addition to the board will enhance CleanAIRE NC's efforts to address air quality and public health issues across North Carolina. Her expertise in working with underserved communities will be especially valuable as the organization seeks to promote environmental health and equity statewide. 

Ms. Everett's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Earth Science and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, which equip her with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute effectively to CleanAIRE NC’s mission. Her work at Key Environmental Consulting, focused on empowering communities and transforming environmental policies, aligns seamlessly with the goals of CleanAIRE NC. 

Kibri is looking forward to collaborating with fellow board members and community stakeholders to forge stronger connections and develop strategic solutions that significantly improve air quality and public health outcomes throughout the region.
